“Hi, I’m Dory!”

“Hi, Dory.”

 “Could I get a ticket, please?”

“What movie would you like to see?”

“Um . . . well . . . Hi, I’m Dory!”

“Hi, Dory . . . You wanted to see a movie?”

“I, what? Oh, I do? Yes! I did.”

“What movie?”

“Um, what’s playing?”

“Well, starting soon is Finding Dory, The Jungle Book, The Conjuring 2. . .”

“I wanted to see that animated one.”

“Well, there are a few out.”

“About the fish.”

“Oh, Finding Dory?”

“Yes!”

“There’s a 4:40 showing.”

“A 4:40 showing for what?”

“Um, Finding Dory.”

“Hey, that’s my name.”

“I know.”

“Oh, did I say that already?”

“Yes, you did.”

“I’m sorry. I have short term memory loss.”

“I see. So, you wanted to see the movie?”

“Movie? Yes, I did. I saw the first one and they were looking the guy’s son, Fabio—”

“Nemo.”

“Right, Nemo, and they went all the way to 42 Wallaby Way, Sydney to find him.”

“I saw it, too.”

“You did. Wasn’t it wonderful?”

“It was.”

“How’s the new one?”

“I hear kids like it a lot.”

“Ooh, goodie. I’ll have one ticket, please.”

“That’ll be ten coral shells.”

“Thanks.”

“Now, Dory: it’s the first theater on the left, ok?”

“First on the left. Got it. Thank you!”

“Hm, did she say left or right? Right. Hey, look there’s a lot of people here. The movie’s starting, yaaay! Uh-oh. Uh-oh. What was that noise? No, don’t do that. I’m so scared. Is that a ghost? AAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHH!”

“Dory?”

“Marlin! Fabio!”

“Nemo.”

“Nemo! I’m so glad you’re here.”

“Of course, we’re here. We said we’d meet you for the movie.”

“Movie? I was watching a movie and there was this crazy, evil looking nun and it scared me so bad. I covered my eyes with my fins.”

“Dory . . .”

“Yes, Nemo?”

“You walked into the wrong movie.”

“I . . . I did?”

“Yep.”

“Nemo, Dory. Come along. We’re in the first one on the left.”

“I’m pretty sure it’s first one on the right.”

“No, on the left.”

“So, Nemo, do you think they look for you again?”

“No, we look for you.”

“For me? But I’m right here.”

“Dory, just take your seat.”

“Ok, Marlin.”

“Nemo, stay here. I’ll go get the coral bites from the snack bar.”

“That was amazing! What’s the matter, Marlin?”

“Not as good as the first one.”

“But Dad, it was really fun.”

“Yeah, I guess you’re right.”

“What was your favorite part, Nemo?”

“I liked the part with the sea lions. They were funny.”

“Ooh, me too!”

“What about you, Dory?”

“When that song came on, the one that’s like ‘I think to myself it’s a wonderful . . .’ ball? Globe? Wait. It’s on the tip of my tongue. Planet?”

“World.”

“That’s it! World. Thanks, Marlin. Hey, Nemo! Did you know Louis Armstrong was part whale?”

“He was.”

“How else would he have that gravelly singing voice?”

“Ha-ha.”

“Marlin, what was your favorite part?”

“The ending.”

“Dad . . .”

“The clown fish is trying to be funny.”

“Alright, alright. Uh, the WWDD part.”

“What Would Dory Do, Dad?”

“Yes, that part.”

“Well, I’m pretty sure I know what Dory would do.”

“What would I do, Nemo?”

“Yeah, what would she do, son?”

“She’d go see Finding Dory without a second thought.”
