I believe the book is always better than the movie
but the movie is still pretty damn good.
I believe Chitty-Chitty Bang-Bang would beat
James Bond’s Aston Martin in a race hands down.
I believe Rhett Butler really did give a damn
but there’s only so much a man can take.
I believe in the collective gasp
when Dorothy’s black and white world shifts to Technicolor,
I believe Lassie and Rin Tin Tin would have created a
magnificent litter of superhero puppies.
I believe in the soaring soundtracks and sweeping vistas of Westerns
but I always root for the Indians,
And I believe Lauren Bacall’s husky voice oozed more sex
than all fifty shades of grey combined.
