POETRY / Hugh Hefner, I Hope You Rot in Hell / Ami` Laree Hanna-Huff
I can see the lust in their eyes
At the checkout line, their hands shiver,
Their voices shake. Their gaze rests near my chest
If I push, will they deny it?
I hallucinate about how I could destroy their lives.
Like a wasp, I’ll sting them,
And let the boil fester for days.
I’d pick one with an allergy
In hopes that my poison corrupts them.
I want a BBL,
Lip fillers and jaw reconstruction.
I want to steal the eyes of everyone in the room,
And then gouge each one out with a spoon.
The greatest thing I’ll ever learn is to be loved.
