Hello, friends,
Greetings from the heat-wave hellscape of the Valley, where everything hurts and we're dying. We're on month five of this pandemic, hurtling towards month six, with no end in sight. I haven't seen my office in ages, and those calendars I bought Matt and Chris for Christmas are completely wasted on this shitfuck year!
The country continues to fall apart at the seams. I don't even have to recap it; you know.
I find these so difficult to write, because by the time I sit to write it, everything that seemed important for the last two months is just not anymore.
We've been doing a solid job of featuring outstanding work and this month is no different. I hope you loved July's Writer of the Month Lysz Flo, and I hope you love August's Writer of the Month, Zora Satchell.
We are open for submissions for our November special edition. This year we're doing Science Fiction/ Fantasy, so if that's your thing you have until the end of September to get it to us.
I cannot believe it's almost September. Hold tight, friends. We're still here, and we want you to still be here, too.
