Welcome to our final issue of Drunk Monkeys for the year! It's our ninth anniversary, and we thought that we would celebrate by running an entire issue dedicated to science-fiction and fantasy works. We got a lot of submissions for this issue, and I'm really happy about that. Thank you for your support, and thank you for your readership.
We will return in January with a new issue and hopefully a more adjusted publication schedule.
In January we will also re-open for submissions for all regular categories, and of course our favorite, the pop culture issue. (Submissions are open now, but close at the end of November.)
There isn't too much to say that we haven't already said, but thank you to everybody who has contributed to our little magazine over the past year. Thank you to the readers. Thank you to the staff are working so hard month after month. I am so grateful to be on this team with you.
I hope that everyone has a safe and healthy holiday season, I hope that we are out of the woods soon, and I hope to see back you here in January.
