POETRY
That's Too Much, Man
Jennifer Schomburg Kanke
The first time we watched BoJack Horseman, we ate
ice cream cake at the new house. It takes all week
for two to eat through it, and we binge
watch the show each night, though really
we just watch three episodes before turning in for bed.
Is there anything to call that? Something that’s more
than you should but not so much you know it’s wrong?
Whenever a new season starts,
I think to myself, “Do I need
an Oreo cake?” The show doesn’t
feel right without it.
Are you watching too, in someone
else’s living room? Or have you moved on
to Stranger Things, Big Mouth?
