She’s been sitting in the passenger seat of my car for a week.
 
She won’t wear her seatbelt and she won’t come in at night.
 
She just sits in the driveway,
screaming,
with the windows rolled down
until my neighbors call the cops, and
unfriend me on Facebook.
 
I told her I’d drop her off somewhere,
anywhere,
give her money for a bus.
 
But she just sits there,
screaming,
Listening to NPR when her throat gets sore.
 
I’ve got to get rid of her. She’s starting to scare the kids.
