Because of you,
I can now thank my mother
for that eucalyptus tea bubble bath
I was otherwise not using.
I can fall asleep to
the rattling of windows,
the collection of sirens growing,
my eye lashes
merging,
knowing no one moved
my picture frames.
You let me steal
the duvet.
It’s also nice
that you don’t judge
when I eat
mayonnaise
straight from the jar.
